
Today we had the pleasure of hosting a lovely couple from Israel for canyoning and shower climbing at the foot of Mt. Fuji.
During the tour, I asked them about their plans afterward, and they told me they were going to eat Sakura shrimp in Yui. As I work in Sakura shrimp fishing during spring and autumn, this made me truly happy and sparked a great conversation.

While many travelers enjoy exploring the Mt. Fuji area and visiting famous nearby attractions, I was deeply moved that they specifically included eating Sakura shrimp in their itinerary. It’s a wonderful thing that makes me even more motivated for the upcoming autumn fishing season.
