Today we welcomed a group of 19 guests from the UK aboard the cruise ship Celebrity Millennium at Shimizu Port.
Many of them were originally from India and now live in the UK, so the day started with a cheerful “Namaste!”
From the beginning, the group had such a bright and friendly energy.
With 19 guests, it was a lively tour, but everyone was kind, relaxed, and enjoying the day together.
We spent the day exploring the Mt. Fuji area, visiting nature spots and local places while avoiding the busiest tourist crowds as much as possible.
It felt less like a standard sightseeing tour and more like spending a day with one big, warm community.

Moments like this remind me how travel connects people from different backgrounds.
A cruise stop at Shimizu Port can be more than just visiting famous places. It can also be a chance to experience the local side of Mt. Fuji at a slower and more personal pace.
This tour is a great shore excursion option for cruise travelers who want a flexible and local experience during their stop at Shimizu Port.
