Today was a special day in Japan known as “Fuji Day,” based on the number 2 2 3, which can be read as “Fuji” in Japanese.
We welcomed guests arriving on the Diamond Princess cruise ship at Shimizu Port.
In the morning, Mt. Fuji was completely hidden from the port, and we were not sure if we would be able to see it at all.
But once the tour started, the clouds lifted and the mountain appeared clearly, staying visible for the rest of the day.
It felt like a lucky moment brought by this lovely couple, who enjoyed every second of the experience with smiles and excitement.
