Today’s tour started with rain and uncertain weather.

The forecast showed a chance of improvement, so we loaded the bikes into the car and moved around, exploring nature spots by vehicle during the morning.

There was no sign of clear skies at first, and it felt like one of those days where Mt. Fuji might stay hidden.

But around midday, everything changed.

The clouds suddenly cleared, the sky turned bright blue, and Mt. Fuji appeared in perfect condition.

We were even able to ride the E-Bikes for a while in the afternoon, so everything worked out perfectly in the end.

We were with two guests from Germany 🇩🇪.

One of them had visited Mt. Fuji two years ago on the Kawaguchiko side but never got to see the mountain, so during the rainy morning they thought this trip might be the same.

That made the moment even more special when Mt. Fuji finally showed itself.

Seeing their reaction made it clear how powerful that experience can be.

The other guest was very familiar with Japan.

They could read some kanji and hiragana, and even practice calligraphy back in Germany every week, which was impressive.

Starting from Shin-Fuji Station makes it possible to adjust plans flexibly like this, turning unpredictable weather into a great experience when timing works out.
