This morning, I received a message from a guest who had just found out that their tour had been canceled overnight by another company.
They were understandably stressed and trying to figure out what to do next.
When I asked how they found me, they laughed and said they did not even remember. They were too busy trying to solve the situation. It really felt like one of those once in a lifetime connections.
I already had plans in the morning, so I asked them to make their way to Fujinomiya on their own and spend some time there.
They visited places like the Mt. Fuji World Heritage Center while waiting until the afternoon.
We met later in the day and continued the tour together.
Since they had made the effort to come all the way here, we adjusted the schedule and made sure they could fully enjoy the experience.
In the end, it turned into a great day, and they were very happy.
As a thank you, they even gave me two Trader Joe’s bags, which was a fun surprise.
